Abstract

The collecting and loading trailer is for bales of straw. It has a tilting hopper into which the bales are discharged via an open-topped channel sloping upwards, along which they are thrust one after the other. The channel (10) has, near its discharge end, a longitudinal guide (17) parallel to its floor, and at a height above the latter slightly greater than the height of the bales, when the hopper (9) is in the loading position. The guide can lift into a position where it does not hinder tilting of the hopper, returning to its working positon when the hopper resumes loading.
