Abstract

A cross-sectionally rectangular mounting tube (16) is arranged besides an awning-canvas shaft (12). Pivot articulations (18) are arranged along the mounting tube (16) and the awning-canvas shaft (12) in a single horizontal plane (19). The axis (21) of the pivot articulations (18) runs transversely to the horizontal plane (19). On the pivot articulation (18) there is mounted a two-part articulation arm (23) which is fastened, at the opposite end, on a rotary articulation (24). The rotary articulation (24) is screwed onto an opening-out tube (27) via an angle pin (26). The awning canvas (14) is fastened on the opening-out tube (27). The awning (11) has a fastening holder (34), including a support leg (36) which runs parallel to the horizontal plane (19) and close beneath the awning-canvas shaft (12). The length of the support leg (36) is such that it is only slightly greater than the diameter of the awning-canvas shaft (12) plus the distance between awning-canvas shaft (12) and mounting tube (16).
