Abstract
To improve the operating safety, the rope-pulley housing (2, 3) is of two-piece design, each housing part (2, 3) being able if necessary to absorb the maximum permissible operating load of the lifting appliance by itself. The top part (2) and the bottom part (3) have bearing plates (4) which point towards one another and between which in each case one rope pulley (6) with allocated spindle (5) is alternately mounted. Upon assembly of the rope-pulley housing (2, 3), the bearing blocks thus formed of the one housing part engage like a comb in the intermediate spaces left between the bearing blocks of the other housing part, and vice versa. The load hook (13) is supported on the top part (2) and the cross piece (9) is supported on the bottom part (3) of the rope-pulley housing (1) in such a way that the entire operating load can if necessary be absorbed by the load hook (13) alone or by the cross piece (9).
