Abstract

The levelling wedge is L shaped at right angles. The horizontal part has a width and length equal to the traditional building block but of reduced thickness, and this part levels the wall by varying the mortar bed thickness. The vertical part dresses the outside of the floor beam and has a width equal to a traditional block but has a different thickness and depth. Notches (13, 15) allow the vertical height to be varied by cutting (13) or the two units to be used separately by cutting at (15).
