Abstract

On prévoit une échelle particulièrement adaptée pour usage à bord d'un navire et d'un emploi sûr et confortable, d'un poids relativement léger et n'occupant que relativement peu de surface au sol et de surface projetée. Cette échelle comporte un limon unique 10 disposé entre le pont supérieur 14 et le pont inférieur 12 ou entre les paliers, selon un angle prédéterminé et présentant un réseau de demi-marches 18 de chaque côté du limon 10, chaque réseau étant espacé verticalement de l'autre selon la direction longitudinale du limon. Les demi-marches sont fixées au limon et s'étendent à partir des côtés respectifs de ce limon et chacune comprend une partie 20 qui en fait partie d'une pièce et s'étend vers l'extérieur pour se terminer dans un plan situé en avant d'un plan passant par les bords avant des marches. Des mains courantes 22, 24 sont disposées dans ce plan avant et sont fixées aux parties des marches qui s'étendent vers l'extérieur.A ladder is particularly suitable for use on board a ship and for safe and comfortable use, of a relatively light weight and occupying only relatively little floor space and projected area. The half-steps are fixed to the stringer and extend from the respective sides of this stringer and each comprises a part 20 which is part of a piece and extends outward to end in a plane located in front of a plane passing through the front edges of the steps. Handrails 22, 24 are arranged in this front plane and are fixed to the parts of the steps which extend outwards.
