Abstract

The equipment stores and transfers heat from a medium heated by the sun, having a liquid-filled tank and a heat exchanger between the medium, delivered by pipe, and the liquid in the tank, together with means for dissipation of the heat stored in the tank. Two or more additional heat exchangers are provided and different levels in the tank, corresponding with increasing temp ranges of the liquid, while in each case there is also a dissipation heat exchanger above them for heat exchange between the liquid and water at the respective range. Thermometers in the medium on the one hand and in each of the tank areas on the other are connected to a valve system and a circulating pump regulating the medium flow.
