Abstract
Ensemble de traitement permettant la séparation solides-liquides, constitué par un filtre granuleux (élément finisseur) dont deux au moins des parois inclinées permettent l'application du procédé de filtration à vitesse décroissante et d'autre part la juxtaposition d'un décanteur à lamelles inclinées (élément dégrossisseur) d'un angle sensiblement égal à celui desdites parois inclinées du filtre. Le gradient des vitesses de filtration décroissantes est fonction de l'inclinaison des parois du filtre - variable entre 40 et 65 degrés par rapport à l'horizontale - et de la hauteur de la couche de matériau filtrant se situant entre 0,3 et 2 mètres. Le choix de ces différents paramètres tient compte de la qualité du liquide à traiter comme de la granulométrie des matériaux filtrants homogène ou non dans ses couches. L'invention s'applique au traitement des eaux brutes chargées dans le but d'obtenir des eaux potables ou à utilisation industrielle et au traitement des eaux résiduaires.
