Abstract

The test bench for a seed sowing machine allows the regularity of the sowing to be checked. The optimum speed can also be determined. Seeds from the seed sowing machine (1) fall onto a receiving plate (2) to which an accelerometer (3) is attached. The signal is amplified (5) and a magnetic tape recorder (6) records the impacts of the seeds. A counter (C) with a switch provides an electrical signal at each turn of the seed sower. This signal is amplified (5) and recorded. A graphic recorder (7) displays signals (11) representing the sowing of the seeds to show presence of two seeds (12) or missing seeds. A second channel provides indications (17) of the rotation of the sowing plate.
