Abstract

The device is intended for load suspension under the aircraft and has independently operable, automatically locking hooks (5, 6). They have separate power-ratio linkages (9, 11, 13, 15;10, 12, 14, 16) for engaging each of the hooks actuated by pressure from the load supporting ring (3, 4) on a counter tip (25, 26) on the hook. The hook engagement alters the respective positions of common-axis locking levers (15, 16) with bistable springs (21, 22) permitting other bistable springs (23, 24) to push common-axis (20) catch arms (17, 18) into a locking position. Disengagement is simultaneous, by way of a lever pivoting about the catch arm axis acting on both linkages. Due to double-armed design, it both withdraws the catches and pushes the locking levers over centre.
