Abstract

The heat and humidity balance inside a greenhouse is preserved by isolating the soil within the greenhouse with the aid of insulation buried vertically around its periphery. Reflective metal drums containing water are placed inside the greenhouse to becycle absorbed heat, these being protected from external losses by an insulated wall and base. An open container of water is placed at the opposite end of the area of provide humidity. The greenhouse walls are provided with double plastics films and folding blinds or alternatively shutters are fitted for day and night use.
