Abstract

Suitable for securing a laminate (11) on a hollow surface (13) the fastener is plastics, and utilises snap action. It requires a quarter turn to connect to the hollow surface. A grooved (2) head (1) cantilevers from a shaft (3) with opposed inclined arms (7) and a chamfered (5) round section tip (4). The tops (6) of the arms fit under the head outstands, having rebated external corners with cammed vertical faces (8). Diametrically opposed studs (9) project from the tip, the fastener being in one piece.
