Abstract

The metal armoured security door and surround has a metal frame that supports a wooden door internally faced with sheet steel. The armour is on the inside of the building so that the exterior shows wood and block only. It consists of a metal frame that folds into the door jambs providing secure supports for the hinges and lock. The wooden door is faced with sheet steel and additional support is given by the metal plinths screwed to the bottom of the wall.
