Abstract

The padlock enables the accessories together with the surf-board to which they belong to be locked. The padlock consists of two rigid jaws whch are linked to an axle on one side, and are locked by a padlock at the other end. The lower jaw has a pin moulded onto it. The pin fits into the centre-board case of the surf-board so that it cannot be detached. The upper jaw has a recess into which the centre-plate fits, and is locked by a pin. Each jaw has a hole so that they can be fixed to a building or other structure.
