Abstract

The ramp consists of a platform (3), rigidly mounted on the stern of the boat (2). Handrails (4) are fitted for safety. An adjustable mounting bracket (10) for an outboard motor is fitted to the main tubular frame (9). Access to the boat is by the hinged gangway, pivoted (5) at the platform edge. The hinge can be locked by a bolt (7). The platform can be used for diving, or with the gangway extended, for boarding from ashore. In the downward position, the gangway can be used as a boarding ladder from the water. When not in use, the gangway is folded at its centre, and folded back towards the stern.
