Abstract

The folding machine has a finger (9) which folds the paper between rollers (8) and transfers it in one case to a spider wheel (13) which rotates and delivers the folded paper to the pallet stack (15). A second folding mechanism feeds the folded paper to an endless belt arrangement which transfers it to the same spider wheel to add to the same stack. The endless belts contra-rotate over drive rollers fitted with a tensioning device (24) and jockey pulleys (25).
