Abstract

The hygienic covering for a toilet seat consists of a continuous roll (19) of waterproof material. The top surface (22) is absorbant and is perforated (20). Each hole has the same size as the toilet seat (6). When the roll is unwound to bring the hole over the toilet seat pan, the strip (19) around the hole covers the seat (3). On each side of the seat are containers (8, 9) for the used and unused parts of the roll. These form part of the seat-flap, and have their top surfaces flush with the seat, or a little below it. The containers are enclosed except for a slit (17, 18) roughly as wide as the roll (19).
