Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un sel d'argent d'un acide carboxylique organique. Selon l'invention, on fait réagir un sel d'un métal alcalin de l'acide carboxylique organique avec un sel d'argent soluble dans l'eau, cette réaction étant effectuée dans un système comprenant : I. le sel d'un métal alcalin de l'acide carboxylique organique, II. le sel d'argent soluble dans l'eau, III. au moins un alcool de 3 à 8 atomes de carbone soluble ou partiellement soluble dans l'eau ; et IV. de l'eau, le rapport volumique de 111 à IV étant de 1/5 à 5/1; le dessin joint montre les distributions granulométriques de divers phénates d'argent L'invention s'applique notamment à la photographie.
