Abstract
Le frein à disque à étrier flottant du type à goujons comprend un étrier 10 dont la branche intérieure 12 renferme les moyens d'actionnement hydrauliques 16. L'étrier est monté et supporté à coulissement sur des goujons 15 fixés sur le côté intérieur du support fixe 11. Le support fixe 11 comporte deux bras 26G et 26D définissant entre eux une ouverture délimitée par des rails de guidage 30G et 30D sur lesquels viennent s'engager des rainures 32G, 32D et 33G, 33D formées aux extrémités opposées des plaques supports de patins 19, 25 de façon que l'intégralité du couple de freinage soit transmis par ces plaques directement au support fixe 11 sans solliciter les goujons support 15. La branche extérieure de l'étrier 10 comporte des surfaces de butée radiale et horizontale 36, 37 pour limiter les mouvements radiaux et horizontaux de l'étrier.
