Abstract

The prod. consists of a sheet of crepe type absorbent paper weighing 40-60 g/m2 impregnated with an aq. soln. of a bactericide chosen from phenylmercury borate and benzododecinium together with a volatile organic solvent such as a lower alcohol or opt. ether. The sheet is packaged in the moist state in a known manner in a sealed pocket type wrapping made of paper of plasticized cloth or transparent solvent resistant plastic. The bactericide concn. is pref. 0.01-2%, esp. 0.01-1%. The sealed prod. is stable to storage and is easily disposed of.
