Abstract

Ce palier est du type de ceux qui comprennent un manchon intérieur muni d'une face d'appui sphérique convexe, un manchon extérieur coaxial au premier et muni d'une face d'appui sphérique concave coopérant avec la face convexe, et des moyens pour atténuer les vibrations transmises d'un manchon à l'autre. Dans le palier selon l'invention, le manchon intérieur comprend un corps cylindrique 2 de support, sur la face externe duquel est fixée une couche annulaire 3 de matière élastomère munie d'un élément annulaire rigide intérieur 4, sur lequel est réalisée la face sphérique convexe 4a, et le manchon extérieur comprend un élément annulaire rigide extérieur 5, subdivisé en plusieurs parties séparées 15 et une douille cylindrique extérieur 7 munie de moyens 7a, 7b pour serrer l'une contre l'autre les parties séparées de l'élément annulaire rigide extérieur. On obtient ainsi un palier de construction simple et qui fonctionne toujours correctement, même en cas d'usure normale.
