Abstract

L'invention concerne une tuyère comprenant au moins un tube cylindrique dans lequel est introduit au moins un fluide d'affinage par l'intermédiaire d'un convergent situé à une extrémité de ce tube, l'autre extrémité débouchant dans le convertisseur. La tuyère est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une gaine intérieure I constituée d'une matière présentant une bonne résistance à l'abrasion, coaxiale au tube cylindrique et insérée dans la paroi interne dudit tube sur une longueur comprise entre 150 mm et 300 mm à partir du point de raccord du tube au convergent et en ce que ladite longueur est déterminée en fonction de la forme du convergent et de la composition du métal constituant le tube. Application notamment pour insufflation d'un fluide d'affinage oxydant, par exemple de l'oxygène techniquement pur.
