Abstract

Le procédé concerne le cuivrage direct de l'acier inoxydable et plus particulièrement des aciers inoxydables semi-ferritiques. Il consiste, après décapage anodique éventuel, à effectuer en milieu sulfurique une activation cathodique suivie d'un dépôt électrolytique d'une couche de cuivre de quelques mu m d'épaisseur. Le procédé s'applique en particulier à la réalisation de tubes sanitaires en acier inoxydable semi-ferritique, recouverts extérieurement d'une couche de cuivre permettant l'assemblage par brasage tendre.
