Abstract

The subscriber telephone call charge calculator has receivers for detecting charge pulses from the exchange. A pulse generator on reception of each charge pulse produces a train of pulses equal in number to the unit cost of the call. The pullse generator is controlled by a logic circuit to apply its pulses via a multiplier and a decimal code binary converter to a liquid crystal display panel. Circuits count the unit cost and the cumulative cost of the call. The panel can display the call charge in charge units for conversion to actual cost of international calls.
