Abstract

Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un arbre de pédalier, un disque entraîné en rotation par cet arbre et pourvu d'une série de fentes radiales dans lesquelles sont montés des pignons coulissants, une plaque fixée sur un cadre et à l'intérieur par rapport au disque, un coulisseau en forme de châssis et monté extérieurement sur cette plaque de manière coulissante, un organe annulaire fixé à ce coulisseau et portant une crémaillère prévue sur une partie d'une nervure en saillie sur son pourtour extérieur, et un corps annulaire disposé extérieurement autour de cet organe annulaire, et pourvu d'une denture sur son pourtour extérieur et d'une autre sur son pourtour intérieur, des pignons montés librement dans les fentes du disque tout en étant logés dans l'espace compris entre l'organe annulaire et le corps annulaire, le cercle formé par ces pignons étant rendu excentrique par rapport à l'arbre de pédalier en fonction du déplacement du coulisseau, ce qui permet d'obtenir un accroissement ou une réduction de la vitesse de transmission.
