Abstract

The rapid transport equipment is for items to be stacked or unstacked at machines or production lines, esp. for flat items moved by grabs between intake and discharge points. Two transfer trucks (4, 5) work on parallel guides in the same frame and with grips (16) engaging with the items (10). The grips are movable independently of each other both horizontally and vertically, their movements being out of phase with each other by half a cycle. As one starts its active stroke transferring an item, the other starts its idle or return stroke.
