Abstract

The motor vehicle has a self-supporting body to which the front and rear axles are elastically coupled. The transverse power unit is fixed to the driving axle, and is coupled to a fitting fixed to the non-driving axle to prevent lengthwise moement between them. Lengthwise relative movement is prevented by one or more lengthwise horizontal links (52) hinging at opposite ends on the power unit (5) and the fitting (8). These links are combined with one or more elastic connecting blocks (53) between the fitting and the body, at the end of the latter nearest to them, and holding fitting and links aligned.
