Abstract

The trailer for transporting wood has a reception cradle or hopper on a U-shaped based formed by two horizontal runners (3) and a crosspiece (4), the hopper being formed by a grill around the uprights (5). The trailer is coupled to the towing vehicle by a cylindrical bar (14) extending through a bearing (15) to an articulated assembly. Alignment of the coupling about the horizontal axis (17) and the vertical axis (20) is carried out by the hydraulic jacks (1, 21), pivoting of the hotch being neutralised when the cradle rests on the ground.
