Abstract
La culasse comporte deux canaux : admission 2 et échappement 3, terminés par des sièges 4, 5. L'entre-sièges 7 est soumis à de fortes sollicitations thermiques. Pour protéger cette zone et bien évacuer la chaleur, il est prévu une plaque 9 conductrice de la chaleur, qui comporte un espace creux 10 sur l'entre-sièges et des zones élargies 11, 12 bien appliquées sur les zones bien refroidies de la culasse. L'entre-sièges est protégé des hautes températures et il ne s'y forme plus de fissures, tandis que la chaleur est bien évacuée par les parties larges de la plaque.
