Abstract

Dental filling paste is produced by mixing a liq. component (A) contg. 15-25 wt.%, pref. 19% p-chlorophenol camphor, 75-85 wt.%, pref. 76.3% eugenol, and 2.8%, pref. 4.7% powdered crystalline menthol (I) and a solid component (B). (B) contains 69-80%, pref. 76.5% ZnO, 17-25%, pref. 22.5% diidothymol and 1-2%, pref. 1% Ag powder. The inclusion of (I) in (A), rather than mixing it with the solids (as in the parent patent), avoids agglomeration of the powdered crystals.
