Abstract
Procédé pour préparer des filaments ou fibres hydrophiles en polymères de l'acrylonitrile par filage à sec ou au mouillé d'une solution du polymère dans un solvant non aqueux et formation éventuelle de la fibre par évaporation du solvant dans un puits ou par précipitation dans un bain aqueux avec étirage et lavage subséquents. On ajoute à la solution de filage, par rapport au polymère, de 1 à 100 %, de préférence de 5 à 50 %, de composés pris dans les classes de substances ci-après : polyamides, alcool polyvinylique, polyamines, polyuréthannes, polycarbamates, polystyrène, oxyde de polypropylène, acétate de polyvinyle ou copolymères à bas poids moléculaire de tels oligomères, ou encore esters et éthers cellulosiques et/ou dérivés de l'amidon, présentant un poids moléculaire d'au moins 2 000 et de 10 000 au maximum. The hydrophilic filaments obtained in accordance with the invention have a microporous structure free from hollow spaces of large dimensions, hence intact mechanical properties.
