Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à la coulée des lingots métalliques. Le dispositif suivant l'invention destiné à introduire une poudre dadjuvant de coulée dans une lingotière comprend essentiellement des moyens qui mettent la poudre dans un état fluidisé avant de la déposer sensiblement uniformément sur la surface libre du bain de métal fondu contenu dans la lingotière Par exemple, le dispositif comprend un fond intermédiaire perforé 4 sous lequel on introduit un gaz comprimé en 5 et qui fait sortir la poudre à travers l'orifice de sortie avant 3. La poudre est fournie au fond perforé 4 par un réservoir. Dans une variante la poudre est mise à l'état fluidisé puis enfermée dans un récipient dectructible par la chaleur que l'on dépose sur le bain de métal fondu. L'invention s'applique à la coulée des lingots et à la coulée continue.
