Abstract

The method for producing concrete blocks having a surface corresponding to the natural surface of sandstone is characterised in that a layer of a concrete mixture (2) consisting of concrete, silica sand and colouring, which corresponds to the colour of the desired sandstone surface, is first introduced into an appropriate mould (3). A further mixture (5) of concrete, lower-grade sand, stone chips or pebblestone is then applied onto this mixture, whereupon the entire filling of the mould is beaten down and shaken on a vibrator (6). Following the removal and setting of the bricks (7), the latter are moved together with the sandstone surface to be simulated through a metal granulate or sand blaster device (12), the surface of the bricks being sprayed completely uniformally during the slow passage through.
