Abstract

The rectangular bottle or flask (1) has a threaded neck (2) on top onto which is fitted a two piece cover (12) which is rectangular in outline to match the shape of the bottle. The inner piece (10) carries a screw cap (9), and the outer piece (8) fits over the top to give a smooth external appearance. The two piece incorporate a resilient component which enables the cover to fix squarely on top. The screw cap is sufficiently tightly screwed onto the neck to prevent leakage. The cap is esp. for scent bottles, etc, where the external decorative appearance is important. The device enables the top to be square with the body while the screw cap is screwed up to its limit.
