Abstract
The pedal lever drive mechanism is for bycycles etc., having two-part extended levers shortening as they travel through the lowermost point of their path. The two parts (1, 2) of each lever turn in relation to each other in a ball bearing, and during rotation to the rear in the clockwise direction the outer parts (2) are moved forwards. There can be a gear fixed to the pedal mechanism bearing housing of the bycycle on each side, and with which other gears (4, 5, 6) are continuously in mesh. These gears in turn meash with one (7) on the pivot pin (8) between the lever parts, so as to keep the outer one at the correct angle.
