Abstract

Mécanisme de direction assistée comprenant un carter dont une portion est élargie, un organe d'entrée rotatif, un organe de sortie rotatif coopérant avec ladite portion pour constituer un moteur rotatif, et une valve rotative contrôlant l'alimentation en fluide sous pression dudit moteur. Selon l'invention, la valve de commande inclut deux cavités 64, 66 en arc de cercle interposées entre les organes d'entrée 26 et de sortie 30, des passages radiaux 68 faisant communiquer chacune de ces cavites avec un groupe de chambres de pression 50, 50 du moteur, et deux rainures 52, 54 pratiquées dans l'organe d'entrée pour alimenter en fluide sous pression lesdites cavités en fonction de la rotation relative des organes d'entrée et de sortie Application aux systèmes de direction assistée pour véhicules.
