Abstract

The static inverter has a transformer whose secondary is connected to the load being supplied and whose primary is connected via semiconductor switches to the dc source. The switches are monitored from a control loop and two oscillators - the second of which produces a pilot signal. The control loop contains a first comparator (24) that produces an error signal and a second comparator (30) that produces a pulse when the error signal and the pilot signal coincide. A memory (34) is coupled to the second comparator's output to suppress the pilot signal every half wave of the pilot signal when the second comparator produces an output.
