Abstract
The hearing aid has two capacitance (7,8) a transistor (2) and an amplifier (3) connected in series with an input microphone and output (6). Negative feedback is applied from an output resistor (5) to the base of the transistor. A resistor is connected across the emitter and collector of the transistor to shunt the transfer resistance of the transistor. This allows an increase in the dynamic range of input signal without an increase in distortion of output. The input level for saturation increases from 85dB to 100dB.
