Abstract

The ground support stand for the bicycle or light motorcycle is pivoted in a trailing setting under the machine frame. The stand (5) is attached to a cam lever (8) linked to a Bowden cable (10). The upper end of the cable is operated by a hand lever (12) with a handgrip (12) behind the saddle. The handgrip is such that the rider, in lifting the grip, also lifts the machine onto the stand. No foot operation is required. To release the machine it is pushed forwards off the stand.
