Abstract

L'invention concerne le traitement des eaux usées. Une installation comportant un bassin 1 d'activation à charge éleée, un dispositif de décantation intermédiaire 2, un bassin 3 d'activation à faible charge et un dispositif de décantation postérieure 4 est caractérisée par le fait que le bassin 1 peut fonctionner avec des micro-organismes aérobies, les composés carbonés difficilement décomposables étant éliminés partiellement dans ledit bassin 1, que le bassin 3 est aménagé peut effectuer une gazéification par l'oxygène, une décomposition biologique des composés carbonés restants et des composés azotés ayant lieu dans ce bassin 3 et l'ammoniac formé dans le bassin 3 neutralisant l'acide carbonique en excès.
