Abstract

Selon ce procédé une ébauche tubulaire extrudée est placée dans un moule qui la divise en deux parties reliées par un conduit coaxial au conduit de soufflage. L'une des parties est soufflée pour former le récipient tandis que l'autre reste chaude et malléable. Les parois de cette seconde partie sont ensuite comprimées l'une contre l'autre et soudées entre elles pour fermer l'orifice de soufflage. Pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé le moule comporte deux chambres 3, 4 et un conduit 5 de soufflage qui part de l'une des chambres, traverse l'autre et débouche l'extérieur. L'aiguille de soufflage 6 coulisse dans ce conduit 5 de manière étanche, de façon à ne gonfler que la première chambre 3. Une tête plate 26 entraînée par un piston 18 se déplace dans la deuxième chambre pour écraser et souder entre elles les parois de la partie d'ébauche non soufflée.
