Abstract

Procédé pour le traitement de boues qui proviennent de l'épuration des gaz du gueulard de hauts fourneaux, boues qui sont soumises à une concentration à la suite du traitement d'épuration. La boue est soumise à une décantation, puis est additionnée de carbone réducteur et ce mélange est acheminé, alors qu'il contient encore 35 à 55 % en poids environ de H2 O, vers un four tubulaire rotatif où il est séché et traité à une température comprise entre 900 et 1300 degrés C, de manière à produire une volatilisation du zinc et du plomb et au moins une réduction partielle de ses oxydes de fer.
