Abstract
The heat exchanger consists of a number of plates fitted insulating material pads. The pads are arranged in such a way as to define channels in the plate to let the heat exchange fluid flow over the plate. The plate is made from conducting material. The plates are fixed edge on to a number of channels, turned towards the plates so that the liquid will flow from one channel to the next. Alternate plates are arranged to handle the hot and cold fluids.
