Abstract

The film viewer for a strip of transparencies comprises a two-part box with a viewing window placed on the axis of a reflector, which is underneath a window admitting light. The film engages a drum which is turned in conjunction with the film, frame by frame. The film passes across the reflector axis, between the reflector and the viewing window. A control lever comprising a circle sector is linked to the drum to turn it in one direction. A unidirection brake holds the drum in position while the control lever is automatically returned to its rest position.
