Abstract

The machine has a rotary rake comprising a shaft (6) on which tines (7) are mounted. The shaft turns anti-clockwise. A scraper (8) comprises bars which are spaced from one another axially of the shaft and which lie in the gaps between the tines. The scraper bars are curved and the centre of curvature is eccentric to that of the shaft. The bars remove the leaves impaled on the tines and they are removed by a current of air.
