Abstract

Isolation acoustique. Le matériau est constitué d'une plaque de mousse de matière plastique 1 liée à un substrat mince en tissu à mailles 2 enduit, sur sa face extérieure, d'une couche 3 d'une matière plastique résistant au feu. De préférence, le substrat présente des perforations 4. La mousse de matière plastique est une mousse de la famille des polyuréthanes élaborée de façon à obtenir une proportion d environ un tiers de cellules fermées et deux tiers de cellules ouvertes, ce qui impose pratiquement une mousse du type polyester. Applicable à l'insonorisation de parois métalliques, par exemple des véhicules terrestres, maritimes ou aériens, notamment de cabines de tracteurs ou de camions.
