Abstract

Composition de mélange réfractaire et procédé pour sa préparation. Le mélange comprend essentiellement, en poids : a. 40 à 70 % d'un agrégat réfractaire inerte; b. 15 à 35 % d'une matière alumineuse qui peut être l'alumine calcinée, la bauxite calcinée ou le kaolin calciné; c. 2 à 10 % d'alumine hydratée; d. 1 à 10 % de ciment d'aluminate de calcium; et c. Un ingrédient acide en quantité donnant, en P2 O5 , l'équivalent de ce que donnent 3 à 19 % en poids d'acide phosphorique à 85 %. On introduit les constituants secs, sauf l'acide, dans un malaxeur, on les mélange, on ajoute l'acide, et on brasse le tout intensément pendant un laps de temps déterminé. Applicable notamment à la mise en place par damage, au pistolet, à la truelle.
