Abstract

The equipment forms a transverse partition in the passenger compartment of a vehicle. It consists basically of a partition element and suspension parts high up in the passenger compartment. The partition itself is a lattice type construction to give easy stowage when not in use. At the upper end of the lattice is a support rod which fits on to clips fixed to the vehicle body. From these clips, on each side, goes an adjustable flexible cord, through the lattice and to clips lower on the vehicle body. The support rod can be extended, by sliding, to match vehicles of different widths.
