Abstract

The swash plate pump has a number of pistons imparted reciprocating movement by the swash plate. The pistons are held reliably by preload against the swash plate also during the suction phase even at high rotating speeds by a relatively compact arrangement. The preloading element (10) is loaded by central spring (9), and carries forks each with two fingers (13) for each piston (5). The forks are held by their shafts (14) able to rotate freely in the central preloading element. Fingers (13) of each fork (11) rest against the associated piston (5) by enclosing piston cylindrical projecting body part and exerting pressure on the underside of the piston head.
