Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de séchage par congélation pour la préparation de vaccin contre le méningocoque. L'antigène polysaccharide du groupe A purifié isolé à partir de N. meningitidis pour vaccination contre ce type de méningite bactérienne est préparé à partir d'une solution aqueuse isotonique de chlorure de sodium séchée par congélation à des températures comprises entre -20 degrés C et -30 degrés C. Cette lyophilisation à basse température sèche la solution isotonique de polysaccharide au chlorure de sodium sans perte de masse moléculaire, c'est-à-dire d'activité.
