Abstract

The device is used for splash lubrication by means of an intermittent lubricant jet, in particular for the cutting of difficult-to-machine nickel and cobalt alloys. A piston pump (1-4) driven by an electromagnet (17) is provided. The piston stroke and thus the delivery volume of the device can be set by turning the electromagnet (17). The total delivery volume can be adapted to the fabrication conditions in a simple manner by means of a pulse generator applied to the lines (21).
